Effectiveness of Using Scientific Stations in Teaching Arabic in Concept Comprehension and Literary Taste among Preparatory School Students

Abstract

The paper aims to identify the effectiveness of using scientific stations in teaching Arabic in concept comprehension and literary taste among preparatory school students. An inventory of tasting skills as well as student worksheets at stations and the instructor's guide to station use was prepared and then designed therefore, the author designed and applied two research tools, i.e., concept comprehension test and literary taste test, to a sample of first-year preparatory students.It's 40 students per class, and it took two months to apply research. The results proved the effectiveness of using scientific stations in developing concept comprehension and literary taste among the participants.  The study recommends the interest in concept comprehension, developing literary taste, and enhancing motivation to learn Arabic at different levels of education. It also recommends reconsidering the methods, styles, and instruction strategies of the Arabic language and utilizing modern ones to promote the practice of educational activities and enhance motivation to learn Arabic.
