Abstract

     Scientific research is one of the most important pillars of development in the community development system, which requires close cooperation between universities and various institutions to identify the capabilities of scientific and technical universities on the one hand, and to identify the needs of different institutions of society in general ,And productive institutions in particular, on the other hand, to identifying clear research tracks that can contribute to the progress and progress of their societies, and coordinate with each other to achieve common goals and objectives of benefit and benefit to all parties involved. In spite of the developmental efforts of the university scientific research in Egypt, it still faces many problems and challenges, which necessitates studying the reality and identifying difficulties in its progress and hindering its effectiveness in Egyptian universities and charting strategic directions for its development.                                                                                                                               
                                       
   This research is practically a translation of the need for Egyptian universities to have competitive advantages in scientific research as the most important requirements for achieving strategic excellence, based on the current reality, which indicates that scientific research in Egyptian universities suffers from a number of obstacles and problems from various aspects, and the emergence of the blue ocean strategy as a strategy Modern competitiveness and its implications of decisive solutions to develop the reality of institutions and improve their performance. It is an option for institutions to distance themselves from fierce competition by creating a new and undisputed space to provide added value to the customer. It has become imperative for universities to seek to build their competitive strategies to ensure performance excellence and future competition.                                                                                                                                
         Therefore, the research sought to analyze the theoretical frameworks for scientific research in universities in terms of its importance, goals, challenges and development requirements, with theorizing of the blue ocean strategy, and arriving at a proposed Perception for marketing scientific research in Egyptian universities in light of the blue ocean strategy based on the descriptive approach.
