Using the Flipped Classroom Strategy in Teaching Geography to Develop Competencies of Achieving Sustainable Development for Secondary Stage Students

Abstract

The study aimed to identify using the flipped classroom strategy in teaching geography to develop competencies of achieving sustainable development among secondary school students. The research tools consisted of a list of competencies to achieve sustainable development, and a test of competencies to achieve sustainable development. The results of the research resulted in the presence of a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the students of the control group and the students of the experimental group in the post application to test the competencies of achieving sustainable development for the benefit of the students of the experimental group. , attributed to the use of the flipped classroom strategy, and in the end, the researcher presented a set of recommendations and suggestions in the light of the research results.
