Developing the role of faculty and leadership development centers in Egyptian universities in developing their social responsibility values in light of the standards of international university classifications

Abstract

Social responsibility is one of the most important job duties that fall on the shoulders of the university, as it is a continuous commitment from it to develop the cultural, economic, educational and social level for all members of society. Therefore, the current research attempts to answer the following main question: How can the role of faculty and leadership development centers in Egyptian universities be developed in developing their social responsibility values ​​in light of the standards of international university classifications? The objectives of the research can be determined in that it seeks to stand on the reality of the values ​​of social responsibility in the centers of capacity development of faculty members and leaders in Egyptian universities from the point of view of faculty members, and the research relied on the descriptive approach. Impeding the development of social responsibility values ​​in the capacity development centers of faculty members and university leaders, including the lack of financial resources allocated to the implementation of social responsibility programs. They have in the light of the standards of international classifications of universities.
