Emotional Creativity and its Relationship to Professional Adjustment among Special Education Teachers in Ismailia Governorate in the Light of Some Demographic Variables

Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the level of emotional creativity and professional adjustment among special education teachers in Ismailia Governorate. As well as revealing the nature of the relationship between emotional creativity and professional adjustment, and predicting emotional creativity in the light of professional adjustment, in addition to clarifying the differences in emotional creativity and professional adjustment among special education teachers in Ismailia Governorate according to (educational qualification,  gender, years of experience, and place of residence, And the category for which they study), and the main sample of the study consisted of (78) male and female of Teachers, in the schools of "Intellectual Education, Al- Amal for the deaf and hard of hearing, and Al- Noor for the blind" in Ismailia Governorate, and the current study relied on the descriptive approach As the appropriate approach to the quality of data and hypotheses. By applying the two measures of emotional creativity and professional adjustment among special education teachers, both of which were prepared by the researcher, the results of the study revealed: special education teachers have a high level of emotional creativity and professional adjustment. Predicting emotional creativity through professional adjustment, in addition to the absence of differences between special education teachers due to academic qualification, and gender in both emotional creativity and professional adjustment, and there were no differences due to years of experience in emotional creativity, while differences were found due to years of experience In professional adjustment, and with regard to the variable of place of residence, there were differences between special education teachers in favor of those  living in the city in emotional creativity, while there were no such differences in professional adjustment, and about the category, the results indicated that there were no differences Refers to the category (Intellectual, Hearing, Visual) in   emotional creativity, while differences were found between special education teachers according to the category in professional adjustment.
