The level of need of Al-Balqa Applied University students for soft skills and ways to enhance

Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the level of need of Al-Balqa Applied University students for soft skills, where the descriptive survey method was used, a questionnaire was developed that included (30) items distributed equally over three areas: social skills, administrative skills, and mental skills. The study sample reached ( 177) student . The results showed that the level of students’ need for soft skills was average for all fields, and differences appeared in the level of need due to the higher cumulative average, and for the third and fourth academic year. the study recommended increasing the university's interest in developing soft skills for students through activities, training courses, and offering a course in soft skills for all disciplines.
