Requirements of the Application of Artificial Intelligence in University Education from the Perspective of Faculty Members at Umm Al-Qura University

Abstract

This research aimed to develop a questionnaire to investigate the artificial intelligence application requirements in higher education (from the point of view of faculty members at Umm Al-Qura University). The research adopted the descriptive analysis method. The questionnaire consisted of (28) phrases covering four dimensions, which are the organizational، human، technical, and financial requirements for the application of artificial intelligence. The research instrument was applied to a sample of (106) faculty members at Umm Al-Qura University. Results of the research proved that the technical requirements are the most significant ones, followed by the human requirements, then the financial requirements, and finally the organizational requirements.
