The role of faculty members at Cairo University in implementing ‎digital education

Abstract

     The study aimed to identify the role of faculty members at Egyptian universities in implementing digitization of education. The study relied on the descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of (30) male and female students from Cairo University. They were selected using a simple random method. The study used a questionnaire consisting of (15) paragraphs. The results of the study showed that the arithmetic mean of the role of faculty members at Cairo University in implementing digitization of education as a whole was (2.06) with an average degree, and that the arithmetic mean of the challenges facing faculty members at Cairo University in implementing digitization of education as a whole was (2.10) with an average degree. The results also showed that the arithmetic mean of the proposals through which the role of faculty members at Cairo University can be enhanced in implementing digitization of education as a whole was (2.48) with an average degree. In light of these results, a number of recommendations and proposals were presented.
