The effectiveness of an electronic system based on the aesthetic approach to developing reflective writing skills and literary awareness for students/teachers at the Faculty of Education, Helwan University

Abstract

The aim of the research was to identify the effectiveness of the electronic system designed through the "Canva" website in developing reflective writing skills and dimensions of literary awareness for third-year students / General Arabic Language. The research relied on the descriptive and experimental approaches to achieve the objectives. The number of the research group was (80) male and female students from the third year / General Arabic Language at the Faculty of Education - Helwan University. The researcher prepared a list of reflective writing skills, and a list of dimensions of literary awareness necessary for the students of the research group. To measure them, a reflective writing scale, and a literary awareness scale for the students of the research group were required.
The research results showed that there is a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the experimental group students (third-year students / general Arabic language) in the pre- and post-applications of the reflective writing scale, in favor of the post-application. There is also a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the experimental group students (third-year students / general Arabic language) in the pre- and post-applications of the literary awareness scale, in favor of the post-application. There is also a positive correlation (direct) between the reflective writing skills and the dimensions of literary awareness for third-year students / general Arabic language. The previous results confirmed the effectiveness of the electronic system designed through the "Canva" website in developing reflective writing skills and dimensions of literary awareness for third-year students / general Arabic language.
