Mindfullness and its relationship with to both Academic resilience and Perceived life stress among students in faculty of education at Zagazig University

Abstract

The present research aimed to identify the differences between the low and high levels of mindfulness in academic resilience and perceived life stress, also the effect of gender (male/female), grade (first/ fourth) and interaction between them on mindfulness, academic resilience and perceived life stress, And In additional try to study search  the relationship between mindfulness, academic resilience and perceived life stress, The study sample consisted of (326) with (103) male and (223) female students in the first and fourth grades. By using the "T" test, Two way Anova and Person correlation. The results showed that there are differences between the low and high mindfulness in academic resilience in favor of high mindfulness students, But there are differences between the low and high mindfulness in perceived life stress in favor of low mindfulness students. In addition, There is a difference between male and female on mindfulness in favor of male ,and there is a difference between male and female on academic resilience and perceived life stress in favor of female, There is a statistically significant positive relationship between the mindfulness and perseverance , reflecting, all score for academic resilience, and there is a statistically significant negative relationship between mindfulness and negative affect, There is a statistically significant negative relationship (Ρ≤ .01)  between mindfulness and perceived life stress of the students.
