The Role of College of Basic Education in Kuwait in Enhancing Intellectual Security Among its Students

Abstract

     The aim of this study is to identify the role of The College of Basic Education in Kuwait in enhancing intellectual security among its students, from the point of view of students themselves. To achieve the objectives of this study, a questionnaire of (44) items was developed by the researchers, covering four domains: college administration, faculty members, college curricula, and extracurricular activities. The questionnaire was distributed to a random sample of (729) students at the College of Basic Education.
     Results showed that the role of The College of Basic Education in enhancing intellectual security among its students was at a medium degree in all domains and in the total score, and were arranged in the following descending order: college curricula, faculty members, extracurricular activities, college administration. In addition, the study found that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≤ 0.05) in the role of The College of Basic Education in Kuwait in enhancing intellectual security among its students attributed to sex and year of study.
