Abstract

The study aimed to identify the application level of employing qualitative educational research on the leadership orientations of postgraduate students at the Universities of Umm Al-Qura and Princess Nourah Bint Abdul Rahman. The study also aimed to examine the support endeavors of the faculties departments of the two universities for the postgraduate students to conduct qualitative educational researches. Furthermore, the study aimed to identify the compatibility levels of the qualitative educational research carried out by postgraduate students at Umm Al-Qura and Princess Noura Universities with the leadership orientations set out in the Saudi Vision 2030. In addition, the study aimed to identify the role of qualitative educational research in promoting the educational orientations of postgraduate students at both Universities according to the Saudi vision 2030. The study implemented the descriptive analytical method; where the population included all the postgraduate students at the Universities. Based on the random sampling method, the study sample included (160) female postgraduate students at both universities; while (159) questionnaires were valid for analysis. The questionnaire consisted of (4) axes with (25) phrases. The study came out with several results indicating that the employment of qualitative educational research by the postgraduate students at Umm Al-Qura and Princess Nora Universities came with an average level. However, the study concluded that the support endeavors of the faculties departments of Umm Al-Qura and Princess Noura Universities for the postgraduate students to conduct qualitative educational researches were significant. Moreover, the study concluded that the compatibility levels of the qualitative educational research carried out by the postgraduate students at Umm Al-Qura and Princess Noura Universities with the leadership orientations set out in the Saudi Vision 2030 were significant. In addition, the study concluded that the role of qualitative educational research in promoting the educational orientations of postgraduate students at both Universities according to the Saudi vision 2030 was remarkable.
