The role of university leadership at Fayoum University in achieving the goals of sustainable development in the light of Egypt's vision for education 2030

Abstract

University leaders are the essence of the administrative process in the university because of their essential role that includes all aspects related to the performance of institutions. The strategy is sustainable development, Egypt's vision 2030, based on the concept of sustainable development, with the aim of improving the quality of life of citizens at the present time, in a way that does not prejudice the rights and future of future generations in life. Therefore, the current research tries to answer the following main question:. What are the most important proposed mechanisms to activate the role of university leaders at Fayoum University in achieving sustainable development goals in the light of Egypt's vision for education 2030? 2030 by identifying the theoretical framework of university leadership in contemporary administrative and educational literature, identifying the theoretical framework for sustainable development in contemporary administrative and educational literature, as well as identifying the theoretical and documentary framework for Egypt's Vision for Education 2030, and standing on the theoretical reality of the role of university leaders at Fayoum University in achieving Sustainable development goals, as well as revealing the reality of the role of university leadership at Fayoum University in achieving sustainable development goals in the light of Egypt's vision for education 2030 from the point of view of the research sample, as well as revealing obstacles to activating the role of university leadership at Fayoum University to achieve sustainable development goals in light of Egypt's vision Education 2030 from the point of view of the research sample, and the research relied on the descriptive approach, and one of the most important findings of the research is the existence of many obstacles that impede the development of the performance of university leaders in achieving sustainable development goals in the light of Egypt's vision for Education 2030 in terms of the environmental dimension, the social dimension, And the economic dimension, including the lack of a mechanism that allows communication with scientific and international research centers to see the latest developments in the environmental field, and the lack of interest in forming research teams to study social problems and provide solutions to them. At the end of the research, a set of proposed mechanisms that would contribute to activating the role of university leaders At Fayoum University in achieving the goals of sustainable development in the light of Egypt's vision for education 2030.
