Digital Transformation and its Role in Developing the Strategic ‎Performance of Academic Leaders in Egyptian Universities: Sohag ‎University as A Model

Abstract

the study aimed to develop the strategic performance of the academic leaders at Suhag University, by activating the role of digital transformation at the university. To achieve the research objectives, the study used the descriptive mothed, and the study depended on questionnaire as a tool applied to a sample of the university’s academic leaders (deans - deans - department heads) at Suhag University. The study concluded to several results, the most important of which are: Academic leaders are trained to use digital transformation techniques and skills to develop strategic performance to a moderate degree. Strategic planning is used to develop the strategic performance of academic leaders at the university in a manner commensurate with digital transformation to a moderate degree. The necessary digital transformation techniques are available to develop strategic performance. For academic leaders at Suhag University to a moderate degree, the requirements for implementing digital transformation to develop strategic performance are available. for academic leaders at the university to a moderate degree, the infrastructure necessary to implement digital transformation is weak for academic leaders to develop strategic performance
